Spring and summer mean many visits to wonderful gardens for me. I love to see and smell the variety of plants, flowers, and soils getting out and enjoying gardens has brought me so much tranquility. Above is the Arboretum at Penn State University in Pennsylvania. I hope you find a garden you love. I would love to hear about the gardens you have visited.
In March I was honored to be able to join Society of American Florist (SAF) and friends on the Hill to lobby on our Congressional Action Days. It was a very important trip for us in the Agricultural – Floriculture industry; it was a day where we can speak as constituents and business owners about inflation and other issues impacting our industry.
Listening to speakers like Rep. Dan Kildee (D-Michigan) was informative for SAF Congressional Action Day seminar. Getting out with our little voice and joining with other industry leaders big and small to be heard was huge for someone like me who migrated from the little island of Barbados. If your mom cannot have flowers there will be lushus green plants, and personalized gift baskets for you to choose from at EMY. **Please place your orders early** (it really hurt to turn away a few late orders last year because we were sold out.)
If you are visiting a gravesite and need flowers just call us and we can design memorial flowers that can help spruce up a burial area.
Early orders are accepted until May 2, 2022 for Mother’s Day. We will have beautiful roses in many colors, lilies, and tulips and more.
